Liberal studies Department

Welcome to Liberal Studies Department at Karumo Technical Training Institute. We have dedicated ladies and gentlemen who teach support subjects in all the departments. This is where the lecturers teach essential units such as Commutation Skills, Entrepreneurship, Life skills, General studies, Business Plan, Kiswahili and English in the institute mainstreaming all academic courses.

Liberal Studies provides students with tools and skills to be critical and creative thinkers, researchers and communicators almost in all fields. It attempts to expand one's understanding of the wider world. Through the deliberate and measured examination of psychology, language, culture and beyond liberal studies student are exposed to a holistic view of how people and society work.

Lastly, our department offers multidisciplinary education that allows students to be flexible and expand their thinking, learn how to connect their growing knowledge to the outside world, gain skills to succeed in work place and in life. Welcome all
